One of the tensions explored by digital art is the one between what is real and what is virtual—a divide that has gradually blurred to the point of becoming almost invisible. At the same time, every artistic practice unfolds within a context that cannot be ignored. The exhibition “Virtualitat i realitat: Resiliència, resistència i recuperació” (Virtuality and Reality: Resilience, Resistance, and Recovery) curated by Joan Soler-Adillon, examines the role of digital art as a mediator of our coexistence within and with a context in constant imbalance.
